Periklis Hristoforidis
Biography
Pericles Christoforidis (Greek: Περικλής Χριστοφορίδης, 1907 - September 30, 1983) was a Greek comic actor. He came from an artistic family in Pontus, since both his father and grandfather Pericles were also actors. He holds the record for participating in more films than any other actor (more than 200). He was born in Trabzon. In 1922 he moved to Greece. His tenure in the darkrooms was one of the longest, from 1929 to 1979, participating in films such as "Bora" by Dimitris Gaziadis and "The Journey of Melitos" by Giorgos Panousopoulos. His grandfather and father were also actors, as was his sister Stella, who was one of the first to make films. His cousin, Takis Christoforidis, also appeared in several of his films.
