Into the Labyrinth
Three children stumble upon imprisoned sorcerer Rothgo and are drawn into a mysterious search through time for the magical Nidus, which has been stolen by the evil witch Belor.

1. Rothgo

Phil, Helen and Terry enter a cavern where they meet Rothgo, a wizard who needs help against the witch Belor, who has stolen a magical object called the Nidas. The children then enter the labyrinth of time and are hurled into the past.
2. The Circle
Air Date: 1981-05-20
The children arrive in neolithic Britain where they find Rothgo as a Druid Priest. Phil battles an evil dictator.
3. Robin
Air Date: 1981-05-27
The trio arrive in the caves beneath Nottingham where they battle the Sheriff of Nottingham and find Rothgo as a medieval magician.
4. Masrur
Air Date: 1981-06-03
The children find themselves in the caves beneath the palace of the Grand Vizar in the far east. Rothgo helps the children rescue the Vizar before Belor discovers their plans.
5. Conflict
Air Date: 1981-06-10
During the English Civil War, the children find Rothgo as a playwright while Belor is disguised as a housekeeper.
6. Revolution
Air Date: 1981-06-17
Arriving beneath Paris during the French Revolution, Rothgo is under the spell of Belor who seeks to prevent him from helping the children.
7. Minotaur
Air Date: 1981-06-24
After briefly returning home, the children are sent by Rothgo to the original Labyrinth on the island of Crete. There, the children must fight both a Minotaur and Belor.
1. The Calling
Air Date: 1981-08-03
Belor lives and she's out to destroy the Nidus. Once again, Rothgo needs the children's help to defeat Belor. This time, they go to Asgard.
2. Treason
Air Date: 1981-08-10
The Nidus has broken into five pieces, and the children must find them before Belor can. Their first stop gets them and Rothgo involved in the plot to assassinate King James I.
3. Alamo
Air Date: 1981-08-17
Having secured one part of the Nidus, the children find themselves in America. Rothgo, as a medicine man, has lost his memory and the children are taken in the besieged fort of Davy Crockett and Colonel Bowie where Belor is at work.
4. Cave of Diamonds
Air Date: 1981-08-24
With two parts of the Nidus already found, the children arrive in ancient India with all its mysticism and magic. Belor appears as the multi-armed goddess Khumbakarna to foil Rothgo as Prince Sagara, who is due to be married.
5. Shadrach
Air Date: 1981-09-07
Deep in the sewers of Victorian London, the children encounter an unusual sleuth, T.J. Shadrach, the victim of a spell by Belor to change his face to that of Rothgo as the detective tries to foil a theft of the crown jewels.
6. Siege
Air Date: 1981-09-14
Transported to the Great Siege of Malta in 1565, the children encounter Rothgo in another extraordinary disguise, that of Sir Hugo, an old knight who, with La Valette, tries to keep the Turks at bay.
7. Succession
Air Date: 1981-09-21
The children look for Rothgo in ancient Egypt at the time of Tutankhamun's burial, and seek a final desperate solution to Belor's evil powers. The children are accused of being grave robbers though and taken before Princess Mertaten.
1. Lazlo
Air Date: 1982-07-28
Belor returns again and Phil is lured into Delta Time – an alternative history where fiction exists – by the unreliable magician Lazlo. Lazlo and Phil are soon dying of a disease, and the only hope rests in finding the scarabs.
2. Dr Jekyll and Mrs Hyde
Air Date: 1982-08-04
Lazlo, as the incompetent chemist Dr Jekyll, plans to transform himself into the infamous Mr Hyde. Meanwhile, Belor—as Mrs Hyde—takes control of Victorian London's criminal underworld.
3. Eye of the Sun
Air Date: 1982-08-11
Phil flies through time to find Lazlo as a seedy priest at the time of the Incas. They encounter Belor in the guise of an evil native princess in league with the Spanish Conquistadors.
4. London's Burning
Air Date: 1982-08-18
Lazlo, as Thomas Farriner, has a mob on his heels when his baker's shop begins the Great Fire of London. Belor appears as a countess with magical powers known to the Lord Mayor himself.
5. The Phantom of the Opera
Air Date: 1982-08-25
Phil and Lazlo, now a ratcatcher, search the catacombs beneath the Paris Opera. Belor poses as a young girl abducted by the fabled Phantom of the Opera and finds the scarab hidden in an unlikely place.
6. Xanadu
Air Date: 1982-09-01
Phil arrives at the court of Kubla Khan in ancient China. Lazlo, as Marco Polo, struggles to regain the scarab, but is denied possession by a rebellion led by Khan's son, Aybars, with some aid from Belor.
7. Excalibur
Air Date: 1982-09-08
Phil arrives in ancient Britain to find Lazlo in the guise of Merlin, the only one who knows the secret of Excalibur in the days when King Arthur's power is waning in the face of Belor's evil as Morgan Le Fay.
