Grandma cooked with Tom Yaar

A documentary food program presented by Tom Yaar. The program aired on June 10, 2021, after the airing of two pilot episodes on Rosh Hashanah 2020 and on Israeli Independence Day 2021. During the program, Tom Yaar comes to various places around the country, is hosted in the homes of grandparents and learns from them about the secrets of different ethnic cuisines. At the end of each episode, Yaar cooks a meal for friends inspired by the dishes she learned to prepare during her visits.

Tom goes out to meet brides and mothers-in-law who really love each other! Grandma Ata the Russian and grandma Esther the Kurdish will tell how to create a good relationship with the bride, and also, Tom indulges in a cabbage leaf treatment and celebrates her 80th birthday at a surprise party.

Tom sets out to explore the special bond between mother and daughter: she will meet Moroccan grandmother Rachel and her daughter and the Reiki master Turkish grandmother Hana and her daughter, she will learn what it's like to be a mother to a daughter, about the importance of bleach and how to talk to the food so that it turns out delicious.
