The Adventures of Suzy Boon
Follows the misadventures of our hero, Suzy, who is trying to find where she belongs in New Zealand.

Suzy is reminded by her boss, Linleigh, that her job trial at the NZ Immigration Service will be ending soon and only two vacancies will be filled. Nervous, Suzy makes another attempt to bond with her co-workers. Unable to sleep, a lonely Suzy visits an online dating website.
2. Hooked on a Feeling
Air Date: 2014-01-08
At a staff meeting, Suzy is singled out for what not to do when assessing newcomers into New Zealand. Suzy shrugs it off as she is excited for her date with her online boyfriend. The date, however, does not go as smoothly as she hoped for.
3. Warrior Princess
Air Date: 2014-01-15
Eager to impress her co-workers, Suzy goes on a super healthy "diet". Suzy's dad is not impressed with her diet and questions whether she truly likes working for the Immigration Service.
4. The Beach
Air Date: 2014-01-22
Still sleepless, a stressed out Suzy decides to put on a brave face and re-enter the online dating world. Her date is a mess and she feels like her life is as well. Suzy's dad, however, notices and helps her to relax.
5. Leonardo DiCapriano
Air Date: 2014-01-29
Suzy thoroughly interviews Leonardo, a newcomer to New Zealand, as a last attempt to impress Linleigh, who watches the interview from a monitor. It turns out Suzy has a lot in common with Leonardo and makes a decision that could affect her destiny tremendously at the Immigration Service.
6. Confucius Says
Air Date: 2014-02-05
Linleigh notifies Suzy that the two vacancies have been filled. Unsure of what to do, Suzy is forced to make important decisions as her dad gives her some wise advice.
1. Six Years in a Leaky Room
Air Date: 2018-03-15
After 6 years in single cell, for not having the proper visa when entering Brazil, Suzy Boon is finally allowed to join the other inmates. She soon discovers the violent Prison Warden has an instant dislike towards Kiwis and will need to do anything she can to survive. Don't be chicken, Suzy.
2. Jailhouse Sux
Air Date: 2018-03-22
After a rocky introduction to the Brazilian prison system, Suzy continues to struggle to make any warm human connection. She, however, finds a potential way to make friends - she joins the annual beauty pageant. Maybe, if they think she is talented and pretty, they won't be a jerk to her?
3. The 'Nice' Warriors
Air Date: 2018-03-29
Although she has failed in killing Suzy once, Carly Jackson and her gang - the Swiss Army Knife Sisters - smugly tell her she's marked for death for her direct involvement in killing Carlos, the late criminal chicken. An actual chicken who Carly adored. Fortunately, Suzy finds protection and friends in another gang: Mario and the Nice Warriors.
4. How Do You Solve A Problem like Bloody Mario?
Air Date: 2018-04-05
Carly is still set on bloody revenge - and she has the perfect plan to murder Suzy. After a series of misunderstandings - including accidentally injuring a New Zealand Consulate Lawyer - Suzy is doubtful she will ever be able to return back to New Zealand and see her dad again. Well, at least breathing. Maybe in a body bag or something. Hopefully she gets a proper funeral, right?
5. The Skype is the limit
Air Date: 2018-04-12
The situation escalates with both Carly and the Warden wanting an immediate taste of Suzy. She needs to do something and something fast. Especially when she gets a heartwarming reminder of the life she left behind in good old New Zealand. Inspired not to get shanked, Suzy and the Nice Warriors devise a plan to break out. Like that TV show "Prison Break".
6. The Great Boon Escape
Air Date: 2018-04-19
No time like the present. Although Suzy wants to stay for dinner - they are serving a yummy local dish - she heeds Mario's wise words and escapes immediately. With both the Warden and Carly hot on her tail - both literally and figuratively - Suzy has to make some sacrifices if she truly wants to return to New Zealand.
