Coogan's Run

Coogan's Run is a 1995 British anthology comedy programme created by and starring Steve Coogan as a series of odd characters residing in the fictional town of Ottle. The series consists of six self-contained stories, although Coogan's characters from the other episodes make occasional cameo appearances.

Cabaret club entertainer Mike Crystal dreams of having his own night but his boss just seems to avoid giving him a shot. But all that's about to change when Crystal creates a personer, a brash agent to boost his own confidence.

5. Natural Born Quizzers

Brothers Stuart and Guy Crump kidnap their asylum counsellor and policewoman Cathy to recreate the game show Top of the Class in order for them to live out their dreams of winning, after having failed years earlier.

6. The Curator

Air Date: 1995-12-22

Tim Fleck is the proud owner of Little Ottle museum, a small establishment holding pistols that may or may not have belong to dreading highwayman Dick Turpin and boasting not one, but three medieval wool groomers. But when his mother dies, the museum is in danger of being turned into a steakhouse. That is, unless, Tim can somehow resurrect the long-dead Dick 'Stand and Deliver' Turpin to save the day.
